Mountaineer Coffee Logo Redesign

This is a Logo for Mountaineer Coffee that I made. The assignment's goal was to pick a company and then revise its current logo. This came from my Advertising Creativity class. This class taught us how to design and make brand logos and packages, to promote the brand through its design. I feel that I captured the rustic theme of Mountaineer Coffee well. I also incorporated the company's main themes in my version of the logo. I think the main thing I need to get better at is my creativity. I am not creative, so designing things can be difficult. As a result, many of my designs are rather basic and I question whether they would make the cut in the real world. Below is my revised copy where I tried to add some more stylistic elements.
